Child Psychotherapy

Sometimes children are faced with unexpected challenges that leave them feeling sad, worried, or angry.

Parents often consider taking their child to see a psychotherapist when these challenges lead to changes in behaviors at home and school. l see children beginning at age ten.

I provide play therapy that may consist of games, creating art, or Sandplay Therapy. Areas of expertise include working with children with a diagnosis of ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. I believe it is essential to meet on a regular basis with parents. I have found that this is helpful to understand any changes that may be occurring at home and school. I am happy to discuss any further questions about my practice during our 15-minute initial phone consultation.
